Cage The Elephant's new single, "Come A Little Closer," has hit the top of the Modern Rock radio chart just in time for the release of the song's official video. The clip was designed by frontman Matthew Shultz and features the band members battling some very weird space creatures on a distant planet. The song is taken from the band's third album, Melophobia, which came out on October 8th.

  • The disc follows up 2011's Thank You, Happy Birthday, which yielded the chart-topping rock single "Shake Me Down." That record debuted at Number Two on the Billboard chart and has sold more than 250,000 copies.
  • Cage The Elephant will kick off a short tour on December 4th in Sacramento, California, hitting mostly holiday radio festivals.
