The mechanical bull that serves as the title of the new Kings Of Leon album makes an actual appearance in the video for the latest track released from the disc, "Beautiful War." The clip follows the tale of a would-be cowboy who ends up in jail following a night out with his lady and her brother than ends in turmoil and tragedy. But our hero finds his way to redemption with the help of a prison rodeo and that bull, even earning the approval of the tyrannical jail warden.

  • The nearly seven-minute clip follows "Supersoaker," the first single and video issued from Mechanical Bull.
  • The album, the Kings' sixth, emerged in September after an extended year-long hiatus in 2012 following an onstage meltdown by frontman Caleb Followill in summer 2011.
  • Mechanical Bull debuted on the Billboard album chart last month at Number Two, selling 110,000 copies in its first week of release. It was the band's third Top 10 debut, following 2010's Come Around Sundown and 2008's Only By The Night.
  • The first leg of a North American tour in support of the new CD will kick off on February 5th, 2014 in Atlanta.
