Chevelle releases its seventh studio album, titled La Gargola, on Tuesday (April 1st). The disc was recorded in Pasadena, California instead of the band's usual spot in their hometown of Chicago. It follows up 2011's Hats Off To The Bull and is the band's last album under their current contract with Epic Records.
Drummer Sam Loeffler told us that the trio is ready to explore all its options for future recordings: "We're not exactly sure what we're gonna do. I know that we've been with Epic for a long time and I know that they are still interested in keeping us, so we are definitely in talks for that. And we've had many people, which is great, express some real interest in our band and I think that that's amazing after all this time that, you know, we're still relevant and people are still interested. And we've got some really cool, great offers on the table from exciting, different kinds of labels, which is cool." in Indianapolis. The group will also make stops at the Rock On The Range and Welcome To Rockville festivals later this month and in May.
