Why did the Two and a Half Men kid call out his own show?

Two and a Half Men

Angus T. Jones who we have seen grow up as Alan Harper’s son, Jake Harper, on the CBS sitcom “Two and a Half Men” (he’s the half man) made headlines this past Monday by calling out his own show.

During a 15 minute Youtube video with ForeRunner Chronicles host Christopher Hudson, Jones spoke about his religious beliefs and called “Two and a Half Men” “Filth.”  Jones says that, “Jake from 'Two and a Half Men' means nothing.  He is a non-existent character. If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men.' I'm on 'Two and a Half Men' and I don't want to be on it."

Jones earns around $350,000 per episode.  He is 19 now and has been on “Two and a Half Men” since he was literally just half a man (basically he’s wealthy).  In my opinion, that makes this a bigger screw my job type of situation than when Steven Slater snatched a couple beers and went sliding down a Jet Blue tarmac.

While I do respect Jones for standing up for his religious beliefs, it’s got to be a little easier when you are 19 and rich.  If I were rich at 19, I would have run from my home improvement store job leaving my hunchback boss who smelled like a combination dead rabbit and Old Spice in the dust.  Oh, the night terrors that man caused me.

So what will become of our beloved Jake Harper?  Well, the character has joined the Army and isn’t scheduled to appear in the next couple of episodes.  Therefore, “Two and a Half Men has an easy out if Jones wants to part ways.
