I don’t think I’ve ever heard about a video shoot being shot down because it’s “Anti-Government”. But that’s what has happened to Rise Against. The new album ‘Wolves,’ due out in June first single ‘The Violence’ is a song about “whether violence is an inevitability of the human condition, or whether it’s a choice we make, and therefore, can reject.”
The director of the video suggested to the band that they film the video in a field of Presidential bust, so they thought Mt. Rushmore! They got a permit green lighted but then it got shot down by the board of directors who oversee the location.
