Okay, that was a bad pun. It was also a bad move by producers of the BottleRock Festival to pull the plug on headliners Foo Fighters. The festival had a curfew of 10pm and apparently the Fighters went past it during their finale of “Everlong.” The band was cut-off midway through the song. If you know anything about the Bay Area(in which Napa is north of), its that its filled with dotcom money so not being able to see the headliner finish isn’t a big deal for them. Sure they didn’t get their money’s worth, but no worries. They just hoped in their Teslas and headed home. The Foo Fighters are not the only band to be shut down. In 2014 The Cure was also unplugged because of curfew. The crowd(after appropriately booing the festival for shutting it down) helped finish off the song unplugged.
