Good news, gentlemen. Your favorite “sport” which may be hockey or football might be replaced with something a little more visually pleasing.
According to the Global Association of International Sports Federation, pole dancing has been granted the title as “observe status,” as in, it’s officially recognized as a sport.
Why wouldn’t it be?! The amount of strangth and coordination it takes, it’s not for just anybody!
And since it’s officially marked as a sport now, that means it’s one step closer to being an event in the Olympics.
According to Jezebel, GAISF also approved of arm-wrestling, dodgeball, and FootGolf… whatever the hell that is.
