About a month or so ago, I had a chance to talk with Dean and Robert DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots and we just chatted, (Listen To Interview Here) and they mentioned that they may have a surprise for us, as in a new lead singer and new music. Looks like this has come to fruition. STP welcomed former X Factor contestant Jeff Gutt to the stage at a show they did at the Troubadour, Tuesday night. They barred cell phones at the event. They kicked off the show with “Down” and also performed Down, Wicked Garden, Vasoline, Coma, Interstate Love Song, Plush, Big Empty and a few other STP classics in debuted a new song titled “Meadow,” which is in the video below.
