If you cruise around on the interwebs, you may have noticed that the song “Africa” by the 80’s band Toto randomly been popping up everywhere. It’s a bit of a meme at this point, but everybody and their grandmother has done a cover at this point.
And now, thanks to the power of a giant fandom on social media, we can now add Weezer to this list. A lot of people say that it began with a girl in Ohio asking the band if they could pay homage to the rains down in Africa, and then the request just kept growing and growing in popularity. Finally, the guys from Weezer gave in and put out this awesome rendition!
