I saw this late last night when somebody tweeted that it “had been burned down,” thinking it was some kind of punk that wanted attention, but it looks like it was done on purpose by Bonnaroo themselves due to “structural issues.”
Yesterday, Bonnaroo posted on their Facebook page,
Goodbye old friend!
This incarnation of the Bonnaroo Arch had some significant structural issues and needed to be removed. The arch has evolved and changed throughout the years, but one thing that will never change is the welcoming feeling when you arrive on The Farm
. We’re excited to share its newest incarnation for 2019, so stay tuned, and share your favorite arch pic to celebrate our old friend.
