The NDP just released a report about the rapid growth of Downtown Nashville and continued growth for years to come.

Downtown Nashville reached a population of 13,000 residents in 2019 and statistics show there is continued demand to live in the heart of “IT” city. The city reported a 94.7% occupancy rate in 2019, the highest among “peer cities” like Austin, Charlotte, Indianapolis, and Tampa. The average price per square foot in 2019 was $2.29.
37% of residents in Downtown Nashville moved from out-of-state and 24% moved from outside of the county. 83% of downtown households are earning over $60,000 and 59% earn over $100,000.
