What’s Corey Taylor been up to while Slipknot canceled their tour this year? Putting a new solo album in the works, he just announced today.
October 2nd is when we can expect the new Corey Taylor solo album, and just released today… a track from it called “Blue Eyes Black.” ABC Radio says,
“Black Eyes Blue” is more of a sensitive, heart-on-your sleeve anthem, while “CMFT Must Be Stopped” finds Taylor and hip-hop artists Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie rapping over a heavy guitar riff. The latter tune is also accompanied by a video that features cameos by Metallica‘s Lars Ulrich, Judas Priest‘s Rob Halford, Marilyn Manson, Halestorm‘s Lzzy Hale, Sevendust‘s Lajon Witherspoon, Mötley Crüe‘s Nikki Sixx, Fozzy‘s Chris Jericho, and Anthrax‘s Scott Ian, among others.
