This past weekend (Sunday 6-26-22) KISS played to thousands atWiener Stadthalle arean in Austria.
(NOTE: Keep in mind, this is AUSTRIA) 🙂
At the end of the show, in order to respect the country and to squeeze a little extra applause out of the audience, KISS displayed the Australian flag. Yes, that’s correct. The Australian flag, in Austria.
The hyper-inflated egos of KISS founders, Paul Stanley (Starchild) and Gene Simmons (Demon), were poked to deflate with about 10,000 pins of laughter — a cooperative belly laugh, inserted into a show portion traditionally reserved for screaming applause.
KISS calls this tour the “End Of The Road” tour…and if ego-bruising mistakes like these continue to happen, KISS may run out of pavement sooner than they meant to.
