Metallica’s James Hetfield Will Go On Dinner Date For Charity With A Fan, As Long As They Pay The Tab

According to a current auction on the Charity Buzz webpage, one lucky fan can win a dinner date with Metallica’s James Hetfield. As part of the Adaptive Sports Foundation’s fundraising auction, Hetfield will take part in a special dining experience with the highest bidder on the culinary rock and roll combo auction. The highest bid currently sits at $33,500. There are a few stipulations included in the contest rules, such as the dinner must be held in Denver, Colorado, and the winner has three months from the closing of the auction to confirm the date of the dinner. The winner must also agree to pay for the entire meal, which will include Hetfield joined by an ASF athlete and an accompanying staff member. The winning bidder is allowed to bring up to three guests to the two hour meal, take one photo to capture the special event, and Hetfield will also autograph an object of the fan’s choosing. (Uproxx)
