The word “rescue” is used pretty loosely here because by all accounts, it appears this coyote really wanted to be in between the shelves at this Chicago Aldi.
While no one is sure how the coyote ended up in the store, Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) got called to the Humboldt Park Aldi when people discovered the critter in the cold food section.
The animal was pulled out from the shelves and taken to a wildlife rehabilitation facility where it will eventually be released from.
While they caught the coyote, Roadrunner is still at large.
