Ever Wanted to Joyride a Subway Train? These Folks Did.

There are so many different types of vehicles that seem like they would be really fun to take for a joyride, but have you ever thought about a Subway train?

Well, the NYPD is currently on the hunt for three suspects they believe stole the R Subway train and took it on a ride. As all great criminal masterminds do, this idiot trio posted the video on social media that showed one at the controls while another dangled their legs over the tracks.

Apparently, they were able to access the train as it was left in a “secure” area called a “layup track” that was momentarily left unattended.

While authorities are analyzing black box data (who knew Subways had those!?) they are still searching for the suspects.
