Frontier Flight Makes Emergency Landing When Passenger Won’t Give Up His Lighter

Another day, another jerk ruining it for everyone on an airplane.

On a recent flight from Kansas City to Phoenix, a pilot had to make an emergency landing as one passenger would not stop flicking his lighter. The pilot made an announcement, the flight attendant asked the passenger to give it up, they refused, which meant the pilot had to divert the aircraft. Everyone else, of course, had to take the ride BUT they got to witness the problematic passenger be removed by law enforcement so that’s at least something.

This man was simply asked to give the steward his lighter for the rest of the trip or the entire flight would have to be diverted. He refused.
