In every sport there are people that get way too into it and in youth sports, those people are often (almost always) parents of the kids playing.
We’ve all been there, you go to a game and hear someone screaming their fool heads off the whole time. Maybe they’re someone who actually knows what they’re talking about and is trying to coach from the stands, but most of the time they’re someone like this mom just repeatedly yelling the one thing they know about.
Sure, you can’t make any goals without shooting the puck so she’s onto something there, but her shouting “SHOOT IT” seems like a bit of a distraction.
