Have you ever considered an open relationship? Researchers at La Trobe University analyzed almost 25,000 people and found that non-monogamous relationships might be just as satisfying as monogamous ones. Participants engaged in relationship structures like polyamory, open relationships, swinging, and “monogamish” arrangements. Interestingly, those in “monogamish” relationships (defined as partners with agreed-upon exceptions to monogamy) reported higher relationship satisfaction than those who were strictly monogamous. Poly people and swingers reported higher sexual satisfaction. Other research suggests that non-monogamy can encourage personal growth. (Study Finds)
