The latest Blue Origin flight went off without a hitch yesterday marking the first all-female flight for the billionaire-owned space tech company.
Filmmaker, Kerianne Flynn, former NASA scientist, Aisha Bowe, along with bioastronautics research scientist and civil rights activist, Amanda Nguyen took flight with Katy Perry, Gayle King, and Jeff Bezos’ fiancé Lauren Sanchez to make the 10-minute flight to kiss the edge of Earth’s atmosphere. They experienced a few moments of weightlessness where each woman put an item that meant something to them in front of the camera. Katy Perry flashed a daisy and then used it as an opportunity to reveal the setlist for her upcoming tour.
In case you were wondering if people thought space-Katy was as annoying as Earth-Katy, yes, yes they did.
