Aerosmith’s final show was recently uploaded to YouTube in 4k.
The sad part is… nobody knew this would’ve been the band’s final show EVER. The band didn’t even know it! The show was last September in Elmont, New York.
Listening through the show, Steven Tyler’s voice sounds pretty good, but the tour was postponed and eventually cancelled due to a vocal injury shortly after. The band said in a recent statement, “We’ve seen [Tyler] struggling despite having the best medical team by his side. Sadly, it is clear, that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible. We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision – as a band of brothers – to retire from the touring stage.”
