What happens when you drink soda? Scientists from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research found that sugar-sweetened beverages could be reprogramming your body to crave even more sugar. These changes prioritize sugar absorption, and could result in “molecular addiction.” In the United States, almost half of adults drink at least one sugary beverage daily. Many health organizations recommend limiting added sugar consumption. (Study Finds)
